How does online therapy work?
In a changing world to meet changing safety needs, many therapists transitioned to online therapy. Although skeptical at first, I have experienced this platform not only to bring about meaningful therapeutic relationships similar to in person, it also has increased accessibility.
As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe online space, wherein you feel connected, listened to and supported in your journey. I have also developed creative ways to engage children and youth online that allow for art, play and talk therapy.
Is therapy covered by benefits?
Some benefits cover different Mental Health professionals. I would encourage you to look into your specific benefits to inquire if your plan covers Registered Social Workers. If so, you can submit your receipts from our sessions for reimbursement.
